Conclusion: The health status of Hungarian general practitioners is not better than that of the non-medical Hungarian population or than that of foreign colleagues. The smoking indicators of Hungarian doctors are more favorable than the Hungarian population data, while we obtained worse results in the field of alcohol consumption.
